Smart SlideCart ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information processed through our Shopify application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

When a Shopify merchant installs or uses Smart SlideCart, we may process:

• Shopify store information, including store domain and shop identifier.
• Merchant account and app configuration needed to operate the App.
• Cart Builder settings, offers (upsells, cross-sells, gifts, discounts), rewards, free shipping thresholds, add-ons, announcements, templates, and related configuration.
• Information provided through the Shopify Admin API and required to provide the App’s features.
• Subscription and billing status needed to manage pricing plans and order-volume limits.
• Analytics and technical information such as logs, browser information, and error information when necessary for security and troubleshooting.

Smart SlideCart may process limited storefront and cart-related information when required to provide the slide cart, such as product, variant, inventory, cart line items, and pricing information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive customer information unless it is necessary for a specific Shopify-supported feature.

• To provide, operate, and maintain Smart SlideCart.
• To render the AJAX slide cart drawer and related offers on the merchant’s storefront.
• To manage subscriptions, trials, and plan entitlements.
• To improve performance, reliability, and security of the App.
• To provide merchant support and respond to requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and Shopify platform requirements.

We do not sell merchant or customer personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, operate, or support the App, and with Shopify as required to provide embedded app and billing functionality. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

We retain app configuration and related data for as long as the merchant uses the App and as needed to provide the service. When the App is uninstalled, we process deletion or retention according to Shopify webhook practices and applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Merchants are responsible for configuring the App in accordance with their store policies, applicable privacy laws, and Shopify’s terms. Merchants should review their theme and privacy disclosures to reflect use of cart-related apps and offers.

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
